Central Coast Council (formerly Wyong Shire Council) as trust managers have partnered Budgewoi Beach Dunecare from inception, providing insurance, training, approvals and financial assistance. They have also provided storage and waste management facilities.
All tiers of government have supported the project through grants and in-kind support. Local businesses and corporate sponsors have all supported Budgewoi Beach Dunecare throughout their operations. The former Wyong Council and Delta Electricity provided a storage facility to the north of the Budgewoi tourist park. This facility now also houses our propagation unit.

Three National Heritage Trust grants were awarded to Budgewoi Beach Dunecare from 1998 to 2003. Each grant for slightly under $30,000.00.

Corporate sponsorship from Delta Electricity and Centennial Coal has been ongoing throughout the projects. Several local businesses have provided funding and in kind support.

NP&WS provided the land and watering for the propagation facility during the planting out phase of the project 1998-2004.

A Caring for Country project with the Federal Government committing $28,000.00 and Wyong Shire Council committing $9,000.00 towards the restoration of 13 hectares of coastal lands at south Budgewoi, was successfully completed in 2011.

The Hunter Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority has financially supported Budgewoi Beach Dunecare since 2005

2013 has seen two new local sponsors commit to ongoing financial support for Budgewoi Beach Dunecare. These are "The Lakes Regional Business Chamber" and "The Maritime Credit Union". The funds provided this year will go towards a water trailer.

The former Wyong Shire Council has put out an annual expression of interest of up to $2500 for specified equipment to all Wyong Shire Landcare groups that provide documented proof of on-ground works.
